Meet the team...
Lucy
Lucy is the Owner of Chalkhouse and one of our two designated safeguarding leads. She has nearly 23 years’ experience of working with children, is a qualified paediatric nurse, a mother to five children and a grandmother to two. Lucy loves all elements of caring for children and loves finding new ways to help them develop and grow.
Laura
Laura is the Manager of Chalkhouse, one of our two designated safeguarding leads and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. She is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse with 6 years’ experience working with children between the ages of 0-5. Laura loves singing with the children and teaching them Makaton.
Henry
Henry is our Business Manager. He has 20 years’ experience in financial services and is always on hand to help with any funding or invoice queries.
Hannah
Hannah is our Deputy Manager. She is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse and leads our Baby Room. Hannah loves musical instruments and sensory play.
Shana
Shana is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse and leads our 2-3 Room. Shana enjoys arts & crafts with the children and music and dancing.
Chloe F.
Chloe is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse and leads our Pre-school Room. Chloe loves getting messy, playing outside with the children and watching them grow.
Chloe G.
Chloe is a Level 2 qualified Nursery Nurse currently working towards completing her Level 3. She works in our Baby Room. Chloe loves seeing the babies smile and creating pictures using different materials.
Kayla
Kayla is a Level 2 qualified Nursery Nurse currently working towards completing her Level 3. She works in our 2-3 Room. Kayla loves messy play, helping the children and watching them grow and develop.
Faustina
Faustina is our Early Years Teacher. She works in our Pre-school Room. Faustina loves teaching phonics and preparing our little ones for school.
Tara
Tara is a Nursery Assistant. She works in our Baby Room. Tara loves getting to know all the babies and singing songs with them.
Alisha
Alisha is an Apprentice Nursery Assistant currently working towards her Level 2 qualification. She works in our 2-3 Room. Alisha loves reading stories to the children.
Sneha
Sneha is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. She works in our Pre-school Room. Sneha likes to help children settle in and loves reading them stories and playing in the role-play kitchen with them.
Mandy
Mandy is our on-site chef. She makes all the delicious and nutritious meals that keep our little ones healthy and happy. Mandy loves baking treats for the children.
Millie
Millie is an Apprentice Nursery Assistant currently working towards her Level 2 qualification. She works in our 2-3 Room. Millie likes to help children settle in and loves playing in the role-play kitchen with them.
Jessica
Jessica is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. She works in our Pre-school Room. Jessica loves building things with the children and planning activities for them.
